Spent a quarter-century helping organisations surface their value that in turn sparks excitement among their customers of today and tomorrow.
That’s always been the fire in my belly.
But I’ve always danced around it.
It has never been my focus.
Which is why I created Word and Mouth. To get that focus. And to help many more organisations unearth the commercial goodness in what they do and who they are.
Why listen to me?
I started out in a world of print. As a journalist, before taking on editor and publisher roles to help other content creators do their best work.
Then digital came along and caused maximum chaos. Which is when I took on senior editorial roles on the web.
The challenges of making content work have been a constant in my life. Whether teaming with advertising colleagues on newspapers and magazines, or developing content strategies to please both man and machine, I’ve always walked the tightrope of conflicting requirements.
Thankfully my DNA is stockpiled with creative zeal. If something isn’t ideal for one audience, we’ll find a different angle or entirely new story.
I’ve worked with organisations of all shapes and sizes, across a wide range of industries, and private, public and third sectors.
As your on-demand editor-at-large, I can help you tell the tales that matter to the most valuable people in your organisation. Customers – both across the office, and checkout.
Stories move mountains. And with Word and Mouth, there’s always ‘summit’ to talk about.
